Oman’s SalamAir Announces 2025 Appointment for Chief Commercial Officer
Muscat, Oman – SalamAir, Oman’s low-cost airline, is pleased to announce the appointment of Steven Allen as its Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). With over 20 years of experience in the aviation industry, including extensive work within the low-cost carrier (LCC) sector, Steven brings a wealth of expertise to the role. He will play a pivotal role in driving SalamAir’s continued growth and success.
In his new role, Steven will lead SalamAir’s commercial division and establish new markets to support the fleet’s growth. Passionate about innovation, he will prioritise a digital-first focus to ensure SalamAir leverages new technologies to remain agile. His proven track record as CCO, coupled with hands-on experience building and transforming low-cost carriers, makes him an ideal fit to develop SalamAir’s commercial strategy.
Steven’s career has seen him undertake numerous senior management roles at leading low-cost airlines, including his most recent position as Chief Commercial Officer at BA Euroflyer. Additionally, he was the Chief Commercial Officer of Flynas, where he was responsible for the Commercial transformation of the airline, and Mango Aviation Partners, where he worked to establish LCCs such as V Air and HK Express. Steve began his career in Australia with Qantas.
