One of the largest European Airline’s asks Pilots to become Flight Attendants

23rd Feb 2022

To cope with the rapid surge in travel bookings now seen as well in Europe, British Airways subsidiary BA CityFlyer has announced the ‘Discovery’ scheme which invites the Airline’s Pilots to train to be flight attendants. The initiative follows the announcement that the airline is looking to hire 4,000 new flight attendants before the summer.

The program includes six weeks of training followed by a temporary role in which the pilots would still get their normal salary.
