UK’s Leading Edge Aviation Reports 99% Graduate Employment Rate in 2025

United Kingdom – Leading Edge Aviation, a UK‑headquartered flight training group with operations in Oxford and Spain, has closed out 2025 with a year marked by strategic airline partnerships, curriculum innovation, instructor development, and continued graduate success.

  • Two new airline partnerships were established in 2025:

    • Jet2.com, selecting Leading Edge as the launch ATO for its fully funded Jet2FlightPath programme, with cohorts beginning training in September and October.

    • Aurigny x Norse Atlantic UK, launching a fully integrated pathway from initial training to long-haul flying on the B787 Dreamliner. Six students are currently tagged to progress through this route.

  • These additions bring Leading Edge’s total airline partner count to seven, including British Airways, easyJet, TUI, Wizz Air, and Titan Airways.

  • As one of only four ATOs globally—and the only one in the UK—Leading Edge Aviation contributed to the development of Boeing’s new Competency-Based Training & Assessment (CBTA) Learning Library, now embedded within its theoretical knowledge training.

  • The academy celebrated the graduation of four homegrown flight instructors in 2025, trained and rated in-house through its Funded Flight Instructor programme. Fourteen additional candidates are currently in the pipeline.

  • Leading Edge strengthened its charitable partnerships:

    • With Aviation Pride UK, promoting inclusivity and representation within the aviation sector.

    • With Wings for Warriors, providing ab-initio and advanced training support—including six donated APS MCC courses annually—for veterans transitioning into aviation careers.

  • 99% of graduates secured airline placements within three months of completion. The Class of 2025 graduation was held beneath Concorde at Aerospace Bristol, celebrating the success of 74 cadets alongside families and industry partners.
