Equipped with the Garmin G1000 NXi integrated glass cockpit, improved ergonomics, and Rotax 912 iS Sport engines, the aircraft delivers exceptional fuel efficiency, reduced emissions, and superior training capability.

The delivery ceremony, held at Tecnam’s Capua headquarters, also included two new Tecnam P2008JC aircraft, further expanding Professional Aviation’s growing fleet. These two new aircraft will enhance the Academy’s single-engine training capacity and ensure consistent fleet standardization across all training phases.

Professional Aviation Academy, an EASA (IT.ATO.034) and GCAA-approved international flight training organization based at Ozzano dell’Emilia (Bologna, Italy), operates one of the most modern and technologically advanced fleets in Europe. The Academy currently flies 22 Tecnam aircraft, with additional units on the way, supporting the training of more than 350 students from around the world.

Also new to the Aeros team is Tom Hay, who joins as Maintenance Base Manager. A keen aviator himself, Tom now leads Aeros’ aircraft maintenance facility and is responsible for the care and upkeep of the Aeros training fleet, as well as supporting a growing number of customer aircraft.

Turkish Flight Training Group AYJET Marks 20 years of Pilot Training Excellence

Türkiye – One of Turkey’s largest pilot training organisations AYJET Flight School, has celebrated its 20‑year anniversary, marking two decades of contribution to Turkish and international aviation through pilot training excellence.

Earlier this month AYJET had expanded its simulator training capabilities with the addition of a Diamond DA42-VI NG simulator, certified as FNPT II (MEP). Delivered directly by Diamond Aircraft, the device features full systems replication, including avionics identical to the DA42-VI NG used in Ayjet’s flight training fleet.

Last year AYJET Flight School has shared that it has been awarded Best Flight School 2024 by the Jury of the Bluesky Awards. More than 1,796 pilots have graduated since 2005 with over 1,687 of them were subsequently employed in airlines.

Malaysia – CAE announced the signing of an agreement for the delivery of a state-of-the-art Boeing 737MAX full-flight simulator (FFS) to MAB Academy, the training and development arm of Malaysia Airlines Group (MAG). This new agreement reinforces a relationship that spans almost two decades of collaboration, innovation, and shared dedication to elevating pilot training standards. The new Boeing 737MAX FFS, which will be deployed at MAB Academy’s new flight simulator building in Sepang, is scheduled to be ready for training in July 2026, enhancing its training capacity and world-class capabilities.

“Malaysia Airlines has been a valued partner since 2008, and we’re proud to support their continued growth with the delivery of this new Boeing 737MAX full-flight simulator,” said Michel Azar-Hmouda, Division President, Commercial Aviation. “This simulator reflects our shared commitment to safety, innovation, and training excellence. In addition to the new B737MAX FFS, Malaysia Airlines also operates an ATR 72-500 FFS and an A330 NEO FFS, which was certified in September 2025, strengthening the Academy’s capacity to meet increasing training requirements.
