Philippines-based Flight School First Aviation Academy Welcomes NASA and DENR Delegation

Subic, Philippines-based First Aviation Academy (FAA) were honored to welcome Dr. Brenna Biggs of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Together with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), they visited FAA’s facilities to discuss about the methodologies in air quality sampling, and to seek insights from the flight school on the Air Asia Quality Project.

As a delegate from the Asia Air Quality Project, Dr. Briggs presented this discussion in recognizing the importance of maintaining high air quality standards, especially in proximity to aviation facilities.

First Aviation Academy is the only flight school in the Philippines that was visited by NASA and the DENR delegation. Their next stop would be in South Korea.
