Phoenix East Aviation Group Highlights Delta Propel Pilot Career Pathway Following Atlanta Visit

October 27, 2026

Georgia, USA – US flight training group Phoenix East Aviation (PEA) has highlighted its ongoing relationship with Delta Air Lines following a visit to the airline's headquarters in Atlanta in October 2026. Through PEA Group's Superior Flight School, an affiliate of Delta's Propel Career Path Program, eligible Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs) can access a structured pathway towards pilot positions at Endeavor Air and Delta Air Lines.

  • Superior Flight School joined Delta's Propel Career Path Program in June 2025, supporting both the CFI pathway for eligible instructors and the Company pathway for Delta employees pursuing professional pilot qualifications.
  • The Propel CFI pathway provides selected instructors with a Qualified Job Offer from Delta and its wholly owned regional subsidiary, Endeavor Air, alongside dedicated mentorship from a Delta pilot and a structured career progression process.
  • Eligible applicants must be actively instructing as CFIs and be within 12 months of meeting Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) requirements. Superior Flight School's published criteria also specify a flight experience range of 500–1,250 hours, completion of required pilot qualifications, a First Class Medical Certificate and US work authorisation.
  • Candidates accepted into Propel complete a single selection interview before progressing towards Endeavor Air after meeting ATP requirements. Under Endeavor's Career Advancement Program, participants must complete at least 24 months of active service as a captain and satisfy additional performance and eligibility requirements before transitioning to Delta.
  • During the recent Atlanta visit, representatives of PEA Group visited Delta's headquarters and experienced the airline's flight simulation equipment. The visit formed part of the group's continued engagement with Delta and its pilot career development initiatives.
  • AFM previously reported that Superior Flight School had placed several of its instructors into Delta's inaugural Propel CFI Pathway class in November 2025, marking the first reported participation of its flight instructors in the program.
