Portugal Flight School Sees Significant Increase in Woman Enrolment

09th Jun 2022

Portugal based IFA – International Flight Academy has verified a significant increase in women enrolled in Airline Pilot courses.

In aviation, the number of women pilots is represented by a small value, corresponding to about 4%. But gradually, more women are finding their passion in aviation and continue to pursue this unstoppable dream.

Currently, IFA Training counts with the participation of at least 15 students in ATPL, PPL and FI courses, who show a huge enthusiasm for airplanes and from an early age wanted a professional future as an airline pilot or instructor. This number of women in the pilot courses increase translates into a vast growth when compared with the values of 2018.

In order to fly higher, they chose the International Flight Academy which supports them on this formative journey. The students thus see an opportunity to fulfill their personal dream in a welcoming school with great resources.

IFA is an aviation training center (ATO) that also employs several women, in different areas of activity, with an approximate representation of 23%.
