SEG’s McAir Aviation Expands with New Training Campus in Denver in 2025
Denver, USA – McAir Aviation, a Part 141 flight training group, is expanding operations with a new training campus at Colorado Air and Space Port (CFO).
-
McAir Aviation will open its second training campus in October 2025 at Colorado Air and Space Port, located six miles south of Denver International Airport.
-
The new site offers an uncongested training environment, supporting expansion at a time when Boeing projects North America will require 119,000 new pilots between 2025 and 2044.
-
A public signing event marking the partnership between McAir and Colorado Air and Space Port will be held at the new location on August 22, 2025.
-
The expansion will extend the reach of McAir’s Altitude Pilot Pathway, launched in 2023 with Allegiant Air, which offers students a direct pipeline to airline careers including mentoring from Allegiant executives and priority access to CFI positions.
-
Colorado Air and Space Port, one of only 12 FAA-licensed commercial spaceports in the US, is positioning itself as both an aerospace hub and a flight training partner, offering growth opportunities for McAir’s pilot development programmes.
-
McAir Aviation is part of Spartan Education Group, which also operates Illinois Aviation Academy and Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology, a group that has trained more than 100,000 pilots and aviation technicians since 1928.
Statements
- “McAir’s partnership with Colorado Air and Space Port is a natural extension of our mission to prepare the next generation of pilots through training and strong industry partnerships,” said Tom Rogers, Chief Flight Instructor at McAir. “Additionally, we are proud to bring the Altitude Pilot Pathway closer to more students in the Denver area.”
