Simulator Manufacturer Opens New Simulator Training Center Facility in the Netherlands
As the demand for professional pilot training is increasing, approved flight training organizations and airliners are undergoing significant pressure to provide flight simulators for their students, however purchasing a flight simulator is both a costly and time-consuming process. This creates an obstacle for pilot students to get or renew their required license, therefore Wright Brothers Flight Technology (WBFT) provided a solution by operating its own simulator center.
Wright Brothers offers a facility that includes in-house developed and certifiable flight simulators such as B737 (coming soon), A320, DA40NG, DA42 and C172. They offer in-house development and manufacturing of the abovementioned flight simulators, both propeller engine and jet engine aircraft up to FTD2 (EASA) and Level 5 (FAA and CAAC) for Flight Training Devices (FTDs).
At WBFT, they are constantly looking to innovate and improve the quality of the services being offered. Their research & development office is constantly looking for ways to incorporate the latest technologies in flight training, like virtual reality. Next to the collimated display they offer in all of their simulators to simulate the focal length of distant objects more precisely, WBFT provides a mixed reality Varjo VR headset used as an alternative in order to save energy, cost and space.
If you are pilot who lost their license, an ATO who wishes to train their students on professional simulators, a private instructor who needs a facility for practical training, an airliner wishing to train their pilots, or simply an aviation lover wishing to experience flying on a professional flight simulator, this is the place for you! It is now possible to book hours here the simulator of your choice, where you will be able to book a two-hour session (20 minutes maintenance work and 90 minutes flying time), you can book hours on our simulators anytime from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 18:00.
At the WBFT facility in Hoofddorp, 5 simulators are displayed in its Flight Simulator Center, where they make professional flight simulators more accessible for those whose dream is to fly.
