Simulator Training Center Group announces planned change in ownership
Australian Headquartered Ansett Aviation Training (AAT), which owns and operates simulator training centers in Australia, Taiwan and Italy has announced its plan to be sold to a new group of investors for more than $100 million.
AAT is the largest simulator training center group in Australia with just its Melbourne Australia training center housing 13 Full Flight Simulators. The Group now operates the following simulator training centers;

A consortium of investors has entered into a binding agreement with “certain AAT shareholders and debt holders” that will ultimately see the investors own 100 per cent of Ansett Aviation Training (AAT) “in partnership with management”.
The consortium of investors, named ‘Aviation Training Partners’ consists of;
- Bain Capital Credit
- Arcadia Capital
- Bridger Aerospace Group
The plan is to begin investing immediately in areas such as upgrading the groups simulator training infrastructure.
The final deal is still subject to regulatory approvals, and will be investigated by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, as well as the Foreign Investment Review Board.
