Simulator Training Center Receives FAA UPRT Certification for its Boeing 737 Classic

Global One Training Group, an independent and privately-owned simulator training center located in Orlando/Sanford International Airport – Florida, has upgraded its Boeing 737 – 300 Full Flight Simulator (FFS) and has received the FAA Certification for Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT), Full Stall, Icing, Realistic Gusting Crosswind and Bounced Landing capabilities as per FAA FSTD Directive2.

Global One Training Group has selected the STALLBOX solution from BIHRLE Inc., The main advantages of this upgrade product were no impact on existing simulator certification and no interference with future baseline simulation updates.

The Boeing 737-300 FFS is located at Global One Training Group Simulator Training Center located at Orlando/Sanford International airport. The device has undergone a complete update, including GPS/RNAV approaches capabilities, and the visual system has been updated with an EPCollimated SupraVue®, IG Rockwell Collins EP-8000, 200 x 40 deg Field of View and BARCO Laser Projectors. With this visual system change the customers will have access to more extensive full database models and better generic models to create a highly realistic environment and improve the training device reliability.
