Swiss Flight School Adds 2 New Bristell B23 Aircraft in December 2025
Switzerland – Horizon Swiss Flight Academy, one of Switzerland’s largest pilot training institutions and the sister company of Helvetic Airways, has added two new Bristell B23-912iS aircraft to its training fleet. This delivery brings the total number of Bristell aircraft operating in Swiss training schools to 30.
-
The academy trains approximately 50 ATPL students annually, maintaining airline-aligned standards throughout its integrated training programs.
-
The two new aircraft are part of a broader trend, with eight new Bristell units entering Swiss fleets in 2025 alone.
-
The Bristell B23-912iS is valued for its modern avionics, efficient performance, and low operating costs—making it a preferred choice for ab initio training.
-
The decision to expand with Bristell aligns with Horizon’s strategy of modernizing its fleet while providing students with advanced training platforms.
-
BRM Aero, the Czech-based manufacturer behind Bristell, continues to strengthen its footprint in European flight training markets with both conventional and electric aircraft solutions.
