T’way Air Contracts FTD.aero to Supply a B738 Level 4 Flight Training Device to Korea

Seoul, South Korea – T’way Air, one of the fastest-growing low-cost airlines in Asia, has signed a contract with FTD.aero, a Poland based TDM, for the delivery of a Level 4 FTD, modeled after the B738 aircraft.

The decision to choose FTD.aero came after months of extensive evaluation and rigorous testing of various devices available on the market, including a site visit to FTD.aero. T’way Air, aiming to further enhance the quality of its crew training programs, selected FTD.aero’s training solution as the one that best meets the airline’s requirements.

FTD.aero’s non motion simulators are designed to precisely replicate the cockpits and systems of various simulated aircraft available in the company’s offer. Thanks to the modular design and in-field upgrade capabilities, the T’way Air’s new simulator can be adapted in the future to meet the airline’s evolving needs. This flexibility is particularly significant given T’way Air’s plans for fleet growth and modernization in the coming years, ensuring the training infrastructure keeps pace with the airline’s development.
