13th Oct 2021

Leading Edge Aviation, established in October 2018, turns three years old. The flight school is based at London Oxford Airport. From 2 aircraft and 42 students, Leading Edge Aviation has expanded to over 200 students, 16 aircraft, and more than 60 members. Its graduates are now working for British Airways, AirTanker, easyJet, and Wizz Air.

The flight school continues to improve its facilities with its recent announcements which include the launching of in house aircraft engineering facility, stunning new student accommodation, and fleet expansion with the addition of DA42 simulator. Accordingly, 18 students will be joining the September course and another 22 is set to commence in October.

“It has been a privilege to see so many students begin their journey to the flight deck with us at Leading Edge Aviation. Whilst the pandemic had brought the industry many challenges, it’s been a real pleasure to see our graduates take airline placements and achieve their dream of flying commercially, and also to see so many new students follow in their footsteps,” commented Chief Executive Officer, Andy McFarlane.
