UK CAA certifies FTEJerez simulators

October 27, 2021

The UK Civil Aviation Authority has certified FTE’s B737-800, A320 and Diamond DA42 simulators. These certifications confirm that FTE’s training devices have satisfied the qualification requirements prescribed in Part-ORA, subject to the conditions of the FSTD’s specifications. With this approval, FTEJerez can continue to train students towards a UK CAA licence, making use of the academy’s simulators.

Oscar Sordo, FTEJerez CEO, has mentioned: “FTEJerez has a strong British heritage and a long-lasting relationship with the UK CAA. Following Brexit and the UK’s withdrawal from EASA, FTEJerez has continued to work with the UK authorities to remain approved by the UK CAA. The certification of our simulators is an important step in order to confirm that any student choosing to train at FTEJerez will be able to graduate with both an EASA and UK CAA licence if they wish to do so.”
