UK Flight School Chairman Leads Campaign to Safeguard Future Students Against Financial Losses
In 2023, three (3) United Kingdom based Approved Training Organisations ceased trading, costing their students over 4 million pounds in pre-paid course fees, BBC One’s Rip-Off Britain reported in its latest episode.
These flight schools are:
- FTA flying school in Shoreham
- Bournemouth Commercial Flight Training in Bournemouth Airport
- Tayside Aviation at Dundee airport.
Following these recent closures, Aeros Group Chairman Thomas Dunn MBE is leading a campaign to safeguard future students against financial losses by asking U.K. based ATOs to sign up to a code of conduct limiting them to a maximum prepayment of £5,000 per student, Aeros Flight Training shared in a statement.
