UK Flight School Chairman Leads Campaign to Safeguard Future Students Against Financial Losses

In 2023, three (3) United Kingdom based Approved Training Organisations ceased trading, costing their students over 4 million pounds in pre-paid course fees, BBC One’s Rip-Off Britain reported in its latest episode.

These flight schools are:

FTA flying school in ShorehamBournemouth Commercial Flight Training in Bournemouth AirportTayside Aviation at Dundee airport.

Following these recent closures, Aeros Group Chairman Thomas Dunn MBE is leading a campaign to safeguard future students against financial losses by asking U.K. based ATOs to sign up to a code of conduct limiting them to a maximum prepayment of £5,000 per student, Aeros Flight Training shared in a statement.
