Arizona, USA – United Aviate Academy (UAA), the wholly owned flight training subsidiary of United Airlines, announced it is seeking a Recruitment and Engagement Specialist.
Key Role Highlights
- Recruitment: Develop hiring plans, source candidates through career fairs, job boards, and LinkedIn, screen applicants, and manage the full recruitment lifecycle.
- Onboarding: Lead orientation, manage Workday onboarding, distribute credentials/uniforms, and support new employees through the transition period.
- Engagement: Partner with HR leadership on employee check-ins, events, and culture initiatives.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to FAA, security, and labor requirements while maintaining accurate recruitment metrics.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years in recruitment, with strong sourcing and pipeline-building skills. Experience using Workday and LinkedIn Recruiter is required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field preferred.
- Skills: Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities, proven candidate outreach experience, compliance knowledge, and capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, growing training environment.
