US Aviation and Flight Training Group Epic Flight Academy Welcomes New Pilot and Mechanic Cohorts in 2026
USA – Epic Flight Academy, one of the largest U.S. flight and aircraft maintenance training provider’s with twelve FAA Part 141 flight schools and two FAA Part 147 aircraft mechanic schools, has kicked off the year with a series of milestone achievements and program updates.

First Graduating Class at CVG Aircraft Mechanic School: On December 4, 2025, Epic celebrated the first graduating cohort from its Aircraft Mechanic School at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG), just 19 months after the program’s launch. Graduates earned FAA‑certified Aviation Maintenance Technician credentials, with a congratulatory video message from Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear marking the occasion.

New Mechanic Students Begin Training: Following the graduation, Epic welcomed a new class of aircraft mechanic students in Erlanger on December 8, with the next class scheduled to begin on February 16. Prospective applicants can prequalify for the 15‑month FAA Part 147 program to begin their training.

New Pilot Students at EVB: December also saw the arrival of new flight students at Epic’s New Smyrna Beach (KEVB) campus, alongside intakes across other locations as part of ongoing pilot training enrolments.

Airline Career Seminars: Epic reinforced industry connections with airline partner visits last month, including Laurie Elliott from United Aviate engaging with pilots and mechanics at multiple campuses and representatives from Mesa Airlines sharing career pathways at the Tucson location.
