US Low-Cost Airline Contracts Simulator Manufacturer MPS for 2 Airbus A320 Training Devices

Netherlands headquartered simulator manufacturer MPS has been awarded a contract byFrontier Airlines for two A320 FAA level 5 FTDs with a purchase option of three additional devices. Both simulators are expected to be installed at the Airbus Aurora training center located in Denver, Colorado, United Stateswhich mainly exists to support Frontier training at this time. MPS installation will take place in late 2023 with support from RSi Simulations.

Frontier Airlines operates an all-Airbus fleet of more than 120aircraft, the largestA320neo family fleetin theU.S.Theyare an ‘ultra-low cost carrier,’ providingaffordable travel acrossthe U.S., Caribbean and Latin America. Frontier is alsothe most fuel-efficient of all major U.S. carriers when measured by available seat miles (ASMs) per fuel gallon consumedmaking them ‘America’s Greenest Airline.’Their mission to fly greenerspanseveryaspectoftheiroperations and MPS devices will specifically support environmentally conscious decisions in training.
