“Job Summary/Basic Function
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to teaching material from approved curriculum in accordance with assigned schedule, providing detailed feedback, mentoring/challenging students to grow intellectually and spiritually, maintaining contact with students to advise on matters related to academic achievement, attendance, and behavior, and maintaining/reporting grades and attendance in accordance with university policies.

Minimum Qualifications
A Conferred Doctorate or similar terminal degree from an institution accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in:
- Aviation
- Aeronautics
- Aviation Safety
- Aviation Administration
- Human Factors
- Airport Management
- Flight Training
- Aviation Law
- Professional Pilot
- Undergraduate Instruction
- A Conferred master’s degree from an institution accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the
U.S. Department Of Education In
- Aviation Safety
- Aviation Administration
- Human Factors
- Airport Management
- Flight Training
- Aviation Law
- Professional Pilot OR
- A master’s degree from an institution accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the
U.S. Department of Education, with a minimum of 18 credit hours in one of the disciplines noted and at least 5 years of significant and relevant professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
FAA CFI or ATP
- Demonstrated strengths in teaching at the college level.
- Strong organizational skills that facilitate assignment/task anticipation and completion.
- Superior interpersonal, customer service, and presentation skills required.
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
- 10 years of significant and relevant professional experience.”
