US University is Looking for an Adjunct Professor for its School of Aeronautics

The School of Aeronautics of Liberty University, a well known aviation program in the United States, is seeking an Online Adjunct Professor. Please see an extract from the job post below.

“Job Summary/Basic Function

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to teaching material from approved curriculum in accordance with assigned schedule, providing detailed feedback, mentoring/challenging students to grow intellectually and spiritually, maintaining contact with students to advise on matters related to academic achievement, attendance, and behavior, and maintaining/reporting grades and attendance in accordance with university policies.

Minimum Qualifications

A Conferred Doctorate or similar terminal degree from an institution accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in:

  • Aviation
  • Aeronautics
  • Aviation Safety
  • Aviation Administration
  • Human Factors
  • Airport Management
  • Flight Training
  • Aviation Law
  • Professional Pilot
  • Undergraduate Instruction
  • A Conferred master’s degree from an institution accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the

U.S. Department Of Education In

  • Aviation Safety
  • Aviation Administration
  • Human Factors
  • Airport Management
  • Flight Training
  • Aviation Law
  • Professional Pilot OR
  • A master’s degree from an institution accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the

U.S. Department of Education, with a minimum of 18 credit hours in one of the disciplines noted and at least 5 years of significant and relevant professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

FAA CFI or ATP

  • Demonstrated strengths in teaching at the college level.
  • Strong organizational skills that facilitate assignment/task anticipation and completion.
  • Superior interpersonal, customer service, and presentation skills required.
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • 10 years of significant and relevant professional experience.”
