USA – Delta Air Lines has placed a direct order for up to 60 Boeing 787‑10 Dreamliners, marking a significant step in the carrier’s strategy to modernize its widebody fleet and expand long‑haul international operations, particularly on high‑demand transatlantic and South American routes.

  • The firm order includes 30 Boeing 787‑10 aircraft, with options for an additional 30

  • The 787‑10, the largest Dreamliner variant, offers up to 336 seats and delivers 25% greater fuel efficiency compared to the older widebody aircraft it will replace.
