USA’s WenMar Aviation Highlights Services to Drone Operators
USA – WenMar Aviation LLC, a U.S.-based FAA-designated agent and regulatory consultancy, is highlighting key compliance requirements for drone operators conducting activities outside the U.S. but holding FAA Part 107 certificates or U.S.-registered drones.
-
Situations that require a U.S. Agent for Service include:
-
U.S. citizens or permanent residents living abroad who hold an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
-
Foreign nationals certified under FAA Part 107.
-
Drones registered with the FAA but lacking a U.S. mailing address.
-
Foreign-registered drones operating within U.S. airspace.
-
The FAA’s new rule requires applicants and certificate holders under 14 CFR parts 47, 61, 63, 65, 67, and 107 to designate a U.S. agent for service if they have a foreign address with no U.S. physical address.
