EASA Qualifies MPS Simulator At Oman Aviation Academy

Oman Aviation Academy (OOA) has recently received FTD-1 including FNPT-II/MCC qualification. EASA performed the qualification on the MPS Boeing 737 MAX FTD. The simulator is located at Sohar Airport in Oman and is the first of its kind in the region. OOA uses the device for high quality MAX training and also offers an EASA integrated ATPL training program. The device will be available for airlines and operators to train their pilots during the return to service for the MAX.

About Oman Aviation Academy
Oman Aviation Academy (OAA) is the first aviation training academy in Oman based at Sohar Airport (OOSH). The academy is planning to be an Approved Training Organization (ATO) certified by the Civil Aviation Authority of Oman (CAA) and The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). OAA offers various training programs including the integrated Airline Transport Pilot Training Program and special Military Pilot Training Programs.
