Netherlands based flight simulator manufacturer TRC Simulators announced it has completed the installation of a flight training device at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. The setup includes a Varjo Mixed Reality system, providing an astonishing 360-degree immersive visual experience.
TRC Simulators produces a complete line of affordable realistic flight training devices. Not like most low cost flight simulators equipped with LCD screens, simulating aircraft instruments. Instead all TRC Simulators flight simulators are equipped with replicated, but realistic instruments showing no difference in size, position and functionality compared to real instruments. Its TRC 472 Flight Simulator line is based on a Cessna 172. This Cessna 172 Flight Simulator can be configured with an analog panel, or with a glass cockpit panel.

United Kingdom and United States based pilot training facilitator and pilot training group 2FLY took part in the Pilot Careers Live (PCL) in London where they spoke with new delegates about the latest 2Fly Pro-Pilot programme, particularly the new $7,000 scholarship towards the 2Fly Buzz Airline programme and how their Phase Three APS-MCC has helped 100% of 2Fly graduates into airline employment.
In January 2023, 2FLY Pro-Pilot reported a 100% placement rate for its EASA Pro-Pilot graduates who completed training in 2022. The graduates have successfully landed First Officer roles with Ryanair, WIZZ Air, Gama Aviation, and 247Aviation. The flight school currently has 130 2Fly students in training with training conducted in the following stages;
- Phase One – Foundation Training (Flight Training) – Merritt Island, Florida, USA
- Phase Two: Advanced Training (Flight Training) – Malaga, Spain
- Phase Three: Jet Training – Dublin, Ireland

Pilot training organisation and full flight simulator training center Fiji Airways Aviation Academy shared that Marshall Islands’ Dignitaries recently paid an official visit into the academy’s flight training facility.
“We were privileged to welcome H.E President David Kabua, Minister Jack Ading, and Ambassador Junior Aini from the Republic of the Marshall Islands to our cutting-edge flight training facility,” said Fiji Airways Aviation Academy. “They were taken on a tour of the Fiji Airways Aviation Academy and took part in a hands-on full flight simulator session on our 737 MAX CAE 7000XR device.”
“The visit by His Excellency President David Kabua was a testament to the growing collaboration between our institution and the Republic of the Marshall Islands,” the Academy added. “It underlined the potential for future partnerships, knowledge exchange, and mutual growth in the aviation sector.”
