Philippines-based Airworks Aviation Company Announces New Graduate Batch Takes Flight with Partner Airline

Airworks Aviation Academy, a flight school based in Lapu Lapu City, Cebu, extended its gratitude to Cebu Pacific Air for their continued collaboration and unwavering support in developing the next generation of aviators.

“Congratulations to all our pilots who participated in the program for their outstanding performance,” said Airworks. “Their remarkable skills, determination, and commitment to serve have paved the way for them to join the country’s largest airline.”

The Airworks-Cebu Pacific Air Trainee First Officer Program exemplifies the power of collaboration in shaping successful careers.

Mermoz Academy Continues to Supply Spanish Airline with Pilots in 2024

Nimes, France based aviation and pilot training organisation Mermoz Academy has shared that another five of its graduates have joined Spanish airline Volotea. In 2023 Mermoz Academy shared that the Spanish low-cost carrier Volotea will select 60 pilots each year from its graduates with graduates undergoing Airbus A320 type rating in Barcelona.

Back in April 2024 Mermoz Academy completed the acquisition of 10 Tecnam P-Mentors for its fleet expansion programme. The aircraft will be used for both PPL (Private Pilot Licence) and MPL (Multi Pilot Licence) courses. The flight training academy, which has been operating in France since 2018, currently has 220 students and a fleet of ten (10) P-Mentor, five (5) P2006T twin-engine and four (4) P2010 single-engine four-seaters.
