Nigerian Aviation Training Center Receives Commendation from the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development

Festus Keyamo, the Nigerian Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, praised Caverton Helicopters’ Maintenance, Repairs, and Overhaul (MRO) services and Flight Simulator programs, emphasizing their potential to significantly enhance the Nigerian aviation sector. This commendation came during his visit to the cutting-edge Caverton Aviation Training Center at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.

Keyamo commended Caverton Helicopters, noting that it aligns with his commitment made during his inaugural speech saying that the company is “one of the clear deliverables that I promised to support, in my maiden speech upon inauguration”. He also praised the company’s world-class facilities, highlighting their global significance for the Nigerian Aviation Industry. The minister further stated that Caverton has the potential to attract foreign investments to Nigeria. Established as part of the Caverton Offshore Support Group (COSG), Caverton Helicopters aims to be a prominent player in Nigeria’s aviation sector.

The firm functions in Lagos, Port Harcourt, and Warri, in addition to having a presence in Cameroon.
