Gloucestershire, UK – Skyborne, a global pilot training group which operates flight training bases in the United Kingdom and the United States, delivered its largest-ever open day presentation to nearly 300 aspiring pilots, highlighting the demand for its comprehensive training programs and career pathways.

Skyborne has a number of airline partnerships including:

  • Being a partner of British Airway’s Speedbird Pilot Academy
  • Skyborne trainees will have the opportunity to be “tagged” by TUI during ground school training.

Cascais, Portugal – OMNI Aviation Training Center has received its first Diamond DA40 NG aircraft at Cascais Aerodrome, marking the initial delivery in a fleet of ten aircraft to be deployed under its newly formed strategic partnership with Airways Aviation Group.

The OH-DTJ aircraft, around 7 years old, is part of a larger fleet expansion aimed at enhancing pilot training in Portugal. This collaboration aims to enhance pilot training through advanced aircraft, cutting-edge simulators, and world-class facilities. The new alliance will be known as Airways Aviation OMNI and operate from both Ponte de Sor and Cascais airports. Staged enhancements to both locations will commence in January with the delivery of new Diamond DA40 and DA42 aircraft in quick succession with a total fleet of 10 units expected to be positioned between Cascais and Ponte de Sor over coming four months.
