Emirates Flight Training Academy is Seeking to Hire a Manager Continuing Airworthiness (CAMO) in 2025

Dubai, United Arab Emirates– Emirates’s flight training organisation, Emirates Flight Training Academy (EFTA) is seeking to hire a Manager – Continuing Airworthiness (CAMO) to lead all airworthiness management functions for its training fleet. This leadership role ensures regulatory compliance, optimal fleet availability, and efficient oversight of maintenance programs and records within one of the region’s premier pilot training academies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all CAMO activities to comply with GCAA and organizational standards

  • Develop and implement training, manpower planning, and competency frameworks for CAMO staff

  • Establish and maintain Approved Maintenance Programs (AMP) in accordance with CAR M.302

  • Oversee reliability programs to measure AMP effectiveness and drive improvements

  • Manage maintenance planning (short, medium, and long term) to ensure fleet readiness

  • Interpret and apply mandatory airworthiness data, modifications, and service bulletins

  • Maintain aircraft configuration records, software versions, and weight/balance status

  • Ensure secure technical records archiving and timely updates

  • Maintain up-to-date technical publications and subscriptions

  • Oversee airworthiness reviews and documentation for aircraft induction/removal

  • Support internal/external audits and ensure timely corrective actions for non-conformities

Candidate Requirements

  • Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent

  • Minimum 10 years in aircraft engineering, including 6+ years in CAMO or technical services

  • Experience in fleet management, AMP development, reliability, planning, and technical records

  • Prior engineering management experience; nomination as a regulatory post holder is advantageous
