Aircraft Manufacturer Embraer Celebrates 55 Years with 9,000 Aircraft Produced and Delivered

São José dos Campos – Embraer will celebrate its 55th anniversary on August 19, 2024 inspired by a history marked by excellence in the development of people and products, as well as significant contributions to the aeronautical industry.

With nine thousand aircraft produced and delivered to more than 100 countries and a modern portfolio of products, the company has currently registered over 800 patents. Vero Beach, Florida – August 19, 2024 – Today marks five years since training began in the United States for the IndiGo Cadet Pilot Program with Skyborne.

The 17-month IndiGo Cadet Pilot Program with Skyborne begins at Skyborne’s United States facility in Vero Beach, Florida, with Cadets spending 12 months earning their US FAA 141 Commercial Pilots License with Instrument Rating, plus the required multi-engine time, before completing a DCGA Flight Licence Conversion in India.

The application process has recently been revamped to include the latest suite of ADAPT pilot aptitude tests from Symbiotics.

This biennial event honors outstanding students, recognizing their dedication and hard work with a unique learning experience.

On August 1, 2024, Select Aviation College Flight School celebrated not only another successful year in pilot training, but also a major milestone: their 10th anniversary.

In January 2021, the college inaugurated a secondary base, which became its new head office in June 2022 following the closure of the Drummondville campus. The City of Gatineau also completed major work at the Gatineau airport, including new taxiways and a brand-new building housing six classrooms equipped with state-of-the-art technology, an investment of over $13 million.
