Pilot Training Strategic Planning and Forecasting Tool Aeroplanned Reflects on Growth

Jen Liddle, Co-Founder of Aeroplanned a fast growing strategic planning and forecasting tool for the pilot training industry reflected on her recent attendance of the 19th Asia Pacific Airline Training Symposium;

The week also allowed us at Aeroplanned to reflect on how far we’ve come since the last conference we attended in Orlando back in April. It’s been incredible to witness the growing interest in our software and we’re thrilled to be on the radar of industry professionals and organisations alike. It meant I didn’t get much of a chance to attend the presentations at the conference this time around, but the one I did get to was again highlighting staggering statistics about the looming pilot shortage. How can the industry keep up with those numbers?

Part of the problem is not understanding the size of the problem – there’s currently very little data available to determine the throughput of pilots through the training pipeline. We’re only a new company, but we are already starting to generate this information on a small scale – flight training schools through to their partner airlines with accuracy and transparency. It’s pretty exciting to think about the visibility we can provide as we grow and gather larger datasets!

European Flight Training Academy Takes Flight with FlightLogger’s Innovative Training Management

Flight school management solution provider FlightLogger is excited to announce that the recently started European Flight Training Academy has chosen its platform to streamline their training operations. Following a successful onboarding process, EFTA is now up and running with the software which makes them the 4th Belgian flight training organisation to use FlightLogger.

About European Flight Training Academy
The new academy was founded by Pierre Nahon and Olivier Josse, both experienced aviators with B747 and B737 captain status respectively. By now, the promising new academy offers both PPL, ATPL, and individual ratings, prioritizing top-notch training under the highest safety standards. All flight training is carried out from Liège EBLG, while the administration is placed in Charleroi where the theoretical training is also being done.

Prioritized superior user-friendliness, data reliability, and program management
Already at the initial planning phase of EFTA, Pierre and Olivier were focused on establishing a strong digital foundation to ensure efficient processes and a high quality of training. So, the search went in to find a SaaS system that offered an easy-to-use interface, allowed for streamlined administration, and provided an efficient tool for building training programs. Rather quickly, the radar was set on FlightLogger, and after being showcased the software solution by one of FlightLogger’s client success managers, It didn’t take Pierre and Olivier long to make the decision. The implementation and onboarding, concluded over the summer, included online training sessions to familiarize EFTA’s staff with FlightLogger’s workflows and functionalities. EFTA’s seamless adoption of the system demonstrates its structured design’s effectiveness.
