Dublin, Ireland based Atlantic Flight Training Academy (AFTA) has recently conducted a graduation ceremony for over 30 cadets at Munster Technological University in Cork. These cadets are part of the 110 Ryanair mentored cadets that have joined Ryanair from AFTA in the last 12 months and are now flying or in training to fly the Boeing 737 NG and the new Boeing 737 8200 fleet.
According to Aidan Murray, Chief Pilot at Ryanair, Ryanair Mentored Cadets have a 100% pass rate at assessment, type rating and line training. Ryanair will hire over 1000 cadets over the next year to support the growth to a 600 airplane fleet.
