Leading Middle East Simulator Training Center Announces Partner to Implement Training Management System

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia based Prince Sultan Aviation Academy (PSAA) has signed a contract with Netways, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, to implement the Training Management System (TMS), allowing PSAA to create a smart environment in line with the Academy’s Digital Transformation Journey.

The signing was led by Captain Ismael Koshy, Chief Executive Officer of PSAA.

China’s Aviation Regulator In Talks With Boeing For Revised Pilot Training On The Improved B737 MAX

The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has recently went into a discussion with US plane maker Boeing on the revised pilot training structure on the improved Maneuvering Characteristics Augmentation System (MCAS) of the Boeing B737 MAX.

“The recent meeting indicates that the MCAS of 737 MAX has been modified, so the next step is to train pilots on the revised model and ensure the plane’s future safe operation,” said Chinese civil aviation analyst Li Hanming as cited by Chinese news outlets.

Following two major crashes abroad of the same type of aircraft, the country stopped the operations of B737 Max of which most of its fleets are composed. It also has not taken delivery of over a hundred order which prompted Boeing, as mentioned mid-September, to remarket these aircraft to non-Chinese airlines or lessors as it can no longer hold these aircraft indefinitely in stock room which in furtherance will cost billions of dollars.
