Global Flight Training Group Airways Aviation Instals Upgrades on Training Fleet Used for Military Pilot Training

Global flight training group Airways Aviation, which operates pilot training academies across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and India has shared through its maintenance team in France that its ESMA (France) base has installed bubble canopies on three (3) Diamond Aircraft DA40TDI G1000 on a special request from their pilot training partner partner CAE Defense & Security. These are to be used on the pilot training program Airways Aviation has with CAE specially designed for Luftwaffe – German Airforce.

In 2023 Airways Aviation announced that it had partnered with CAE Civil and CAE Defense & Security , to deliver both Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (MEIR) training to Civilian pilots and ab-initio through to MEIR training to Military pilots on a long term contract with the German Air Force (Luftwaffe) and German Navy Air Wing.

Turkish Flight Training Group AYJET to Increase Training Fleet to 45 Aircraft in 2024

One of Turkey’s largest pilot training organisations AYJET Flight School has shared its fleet expansion plan – growing its training infrastructure to 45 aircraft. The fleet consisting of 22 DA-20(SEP), 11 Sonaca S201(SEP), 5 DA-42(MEP), and 2 Zlin Z242L(SEP) Acrobatic aircraft with another 5 aircraft joining the fleet in 2025 including 4 DA-20 and 1 DA-42. In November 2023 AYJET Flight School also signed an order for one Diamond Aircraft DA42 FNPT II flight simulator.

To date, over 1600 of the over 1700 graduated pilots trained by AYJET Flight School have taken their places in the cockpit and started flying with airlines.

In December 2023 Turkish flight school AYJET shared that it had been awarded Best Flight School 2023 by the Jury of the Bluesky Awards.
