Simaero Announces the Appointment of Mr. Minxuan LOU as General Manager of Simaero China

China – global operator of full flight simulator training center’s and provider of simulator engineering services Simaero is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Minxuan Lou as the new Legal Representative and General Manager of Simaero China (SIMAERO (Shanghai) Aviation Simulator Equipment Co., Ltd.), effective immediately. Mr. Lou succeeds Mr. Jiang Lei in this leadership role.

Mr. Minxuan Lou brings nearly two decades of experience in the aerospace and manufacturing industries, having held senior leadership positions at Collins Aerospace, Golden Argosy, and most recently as General Manager of Argosy Shanghai Aerospace Material. His background in automation engineering, combined with a deep understanding of operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and extensive management experience in both multinational joint ventures and Chinese enterprises, will be key assets as Simaero continues to expand its footprint in China.

Flight Simulator Manufacturer FTD.aero Completes Factory Acceptance Test of B738 Simulator for South Korean Airline

Poland – Flight simulation manufacturer FTD.aero has successfully completed the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) of a B738 Fixed-Base Flight Training Device (FTD) for South Korean low-cost carrier T’way Air, marking the company’s first simulator approved for airline training in Korea.

  • The FAT was conducted at FTD.aero’s manufacturing facility in Poland, where T’way Air test pilots validated the device through detailed technical assessments.
  • The simulator replicates the Boeing 737-800 cockpit and is developed to meet Level 4 qualification standards as specified by the Korean Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT).
  • The B738 FTD is scheduled for installation at T’way Air’s training center in June 2025, significantly enhancing the airline’s internal pilot training capabilities.
  • This project marks FTD.aero’s entry into the Korean market and expands its growing global simulator portfolio.
  • The company currently has nearly 30 full-scale flight training devices, including those based on the B738, B737 MAX (B73M), and A320 platforms, deployed tailored for airlines, training centers, and aviation universities.

China Informs Airlines to Accept Boeing Deliveries in 2025

China – According to media reports China has officially lifted its ban on Boeing aircraft deliveries following two complex trade months between the United States and China. Officials are said to have started informing domestic carriers and government agencies that deliveries of Boeing aircraft can restart this week.

Boeing has previously indicated that it plans to deliver another 50 aircraft to Chinese airlines 2025. Public available data shows that 14 Chinese airlines have at least a combined 137 Boeing aircraft on order – it should be noted that Chinese airlines mostly do not disclose their orders and it only becomes known at the aircraft delivery stage.
